The mission of C. H. S. Ministries is to strengthen, to revive and or build the foundation of entities within our communities.  We believe that a strong functioning network between the Church, the Home and the School are vital.  These entities help to enhance and brace up welfare of the members of our communities.  We believe that the tenets of Christianity teach that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit function as one with power.  It is our goal to assist the entities of the community to network together as one with power to help establish or reestablish the full potential that exists within our communities.

 A healthy relationship between religious organizations and the community will help establish a network to assist the entities within the community.  To make networking effective it must be organized and have support.  The participants must be people like you who have a sincere interest in investing in the future of all our children.  The contributors of this endeavor must have mutual respect for one another, and a personal commitment must be made to ensure the success of the program.

Nearly 85% of the juveniles who face trial in the juvenile court system are functionally illiterate,

proving there is a close relationship between illiteracy and crime.   

More than 60% of all inmates are functionally illiterate.

We believe young people must develop good reading and comprehension skills. Reading is a fundamental requirement for a successful future.  When one has poor reading and comprehension skills their future in our society is bleak.  The health of our communities is contingent upon the literacy rate within it.

 The mission of CHS, Inc. is to encourage significantly the ability, and wellbeing of young boys, girls and families through improving their reading skills.

 The financial assistance we receive with your tax deductible contributions will assist us in helping children and families accomplish their goals in life.  It's our belief that all children should have access to books Regardless of race, creed or religion.

  

 

We need your help with our mission to help the children of primary school age and others who lack basic reading skills.  Books are necessary for the development of these skills. We are working to make books more easily available in our communities through digital reading.
